The Construction of the New Facility Going According to Plan

More than six months after project launch and upon acquiring all the necessary permits, in the beginning of October construction work began for the new MONTING SK production and storage facility. This facility is a major technological advancement for the company, because in it we will be able to assemble and test products, which are a lot bigger and, more importantly, a lot taller. Namely, this facility will be almost two times higher than the two existing facilities - that is 14 meters. An additional underground depressed area of 3 meters will be built in for assembly and testing of higher products. The facility will have two overhead cranes with the loading capacities of 20 and 12.5 tons and lifting capacity heights of 10 meters.

The new facility is a technologically advanced object, because it is very large and set in a reasonably small area, which is also categorized as flood risk area. This is why the facility was designed in such a way to avoid further aggravating the existing flood risk and to make sure that water up to 1.5 meters cannot enter the facility. For this purpose there are two automatic anti-flood barriers installed, which protect the two large cargo entrances from water entering. The automatic anti-flood barriers were developed, manufactured and assembled in the company.

Currently, the facility is in its final stage of assembly of the metal construction, which was also manufactured and assembled within the company. The facility will be completed and submitted for operation presumably in February 2015.
